I believe that art and creativity is greatly misunderstood in our busy world.
We are taught at school that if you can't be like the great artists of the world or if you don't want to be an artist then there is no point in being creative and this couldn't be any further from the truth.
Creativity is a gift that we have been given to help us to cope with the complexities of life and to learn about ourselves on a deeper level.
I believe "HOW WE DO ART IS HOW WE DO LIFE" and by being creative it can show us exactly where we are at. Without awareness about how we are living we are simply existing, going through the motions, but when we have awareness about ourselves we can choose to change.
If we are rushing when create, we are rushing in our life. If we are looking around the room and comparing to others when we create, we are doing this in our life. If we are stuck in perfection and not enjoying the process, we are doing this in our life. If our inner critic is loud and overbearing while we create, this same negative mindset will be playing out in our life.
Art teaches us so much about ourselves and is a beautiful practice to help us to overcome so many of our internal struggles. Art can help us express the unexpressed, it can help us to heal, to nurture, to grow and to discover parts of ourselves we never even new existed. It is my heartfelt passion to help people "unlearn" what they believe creativity to be and reignite the power of creativity in their lives.
I combine guided meditation and expressive art therapy to help people to get out of their busy minds and connect in with their hearts. Our hearts show us the truth of our soul and this is when we start to shine!

One on one art therapy sessions are tailored to suit your individual needs.
Art therapy can assist with healing what we sometimes can't put into words.
Art can help us to express what is truly wanting to be seen and felt within us.

These small group workshops concentrate on letting go of perfection, comparison and judgement while you create. They are designed for you to take a breath, connect in with your heart and nurture your creativity in a supportive group environment.

These small workshops are designed for you to go a bit deeper with your art therapy journey, in a small and intimate setting. These workshops are focused on going inward and expressing your emotions freely while using journaling and expressive art to help guide and support you.

These workshops are designed for small intimate groups or larger corporate settings with the same intention in mind.... to connect within. All of my workshops can be custom made to suit your needs.
